FB has not been very popular with public investors since its IPO, but we think there is value here for those that are willing to be a little patient. That said, at tickertank we are about short term opportunities via Options. So what’s the short term perspective on FB?
The stock has created a nice trading range with support in the 18.75 area and resistance in the 24 area. The stock recently popped off range support and put in an impressive 11.24% upside move on November 14th. This move could be an early indication the stock is ready to break through 24 resistance.
Given recent price action, we favor bullish positioning on FB. If you prefer a range bound strategy that gives a little cushion to the upside, check out the FB Jan13 18/28 Short Strangle @ 0.50 credit.
